Common function words like "have" and "of" can be hard to understand when people speak quickly. In this mini-dictation, you may need to think carefully about whether you've heard "have" or "of."

Remember that some New Yorkers might pronounce "r" as "ah" after some vowels, and "th" as in "thing" and "that" may sound more like /t/ and /d/.
