I stopped recording audio and taking notes. I walked each day in a weepy daze of disbelief. “This is it,” I kept saying. “This is it.”
–”This is it, Andrew.”
–”You’ll see. You will see.”
–”What have you got to lose, really?”
–”You either deny or you accept it.”
–”It just goes by.”
–”Before you know it, it’s done turned around and you’re there.”
–”You got lots of grieving to do.”
–I don’t want this road to end.
–”Run away all you want.”
–”If you don’t know who you are, you don’t know where you’re goin’.”
–”After you’ve done walked this whole way…”
–”You’ll know who you are.”
–”Everything is the way it’s supposed to be.”
–”It’ll be a transformation.”
–”Just hang in there.”
