When you’re walking across the country, you get a lot of questions. Where do you sleep and what do you eat? How much money do you have? What are you carrying? And as for why? Well, I wanted to listen.

I loved the South. The swamps and the farmland. Getting called “baby” and “honey” at the diners… And it seemed like everyday there was some moment of grace.
