It’s an old debate. What is it that makes us us? Our DNA or our life experiences? Genes or environment? Nature versus nurture.

And she said, “Well, I’ve got some news for you. You’ve got a twin who’s looking for you.”

I came over and said, “Elyse?” And she got up and then we kind of gingerly patted each other, which was funny. There was no tearful hug.

“Well the woman at the agency said we were separated for a study on nature versus nurture.”
